My engineering perspective: what each approach helps solve, and what needs care.
React + Redux: separate presentation from state changes
React handles what the user sees; Redux organizes shared state transitions. I keep request handling and data transformations separate from visual components.
The trade-off: A predictable store still needs a clear model. Putting every value in Redux makes ownership harder to follow.
UI components: make repeated controls predictable
Consistent forms and feedback reduce the number of interaction patterns users and developers must learn. Material UI is one example of a component system for that job.
The trade-off: Example option: a component library needs customization and accessibility checks against the actual product design.
