01 / THE CONTEXT
The challenge.
A server-side development company inherited a mobile app with a build issue that it lacked the expertise to resolve in-house.
02 / MY CONTRIBUTION
Getting an inherited mobile application building
I helped resolve the inherited application's build issue during a one-day engagement. The client specifically confirmed that troubleshooting contribution.

My engineering perspective: what each approach helps solve, and what needs care.
React Native builds: isolate the failing boundary
I helped resolve a build issue in an inherited application. Mobile builds depend on JavaScript dependencies and native tooling, so the failure needs to be traced to the responsible layer.
The trade-off: Broad upgrades can introduce new incompatibilities. A focused fix is easier to verify and hand back.
Inherited code: restore a dependable starting point
A working build gives the team a basis for continuing development. I look for the smallest reproducible failure and the configuration needed to verify the correction.
The trade-off: A successful build establishes a starting point; it does not prove every runtime workflow works.
