Full stack & cloud / Client work
One engineering partner. Across the stack.
Frontend and backend delivery with React, Next.js, MongoDB, and AWS. The work is delivered; the Upwork contract remains open.

01 / THE CONTEXT
The challenge.
A full-stack engagement spanning a React and Next.js frontend, a MongoDB data layer, and AWS services.
02 / MY CONTRIBUTION
Frontend, backend, and cloud development
I worked across the frontend and backend using React, Next.js, and MongoDB. The AWS work included CDK, Lambda, EventBridge, and API Gateway.
The delivery is finished. Upwork still lists the contract as open, so its displayed period is separate from the actual work status.

My engineering perspective: what each approach helps solve, and what needs care.
MongoDB: model data around how it is used
I worked with MongoDB on the data layer. Its document model supports related fields and nested structures; the key design question is which data the application reads and updates together.
The trade-off: Flexible documents still need validation and indexes. Embedding simplifies some reads, while references can suit data that changes independently.
AWS CDK: make infrastructure changes reviewable
My AWS work included CDK. Defining infrastructure in code makes its configuration versionable and gives the team a concrete change to inspect before applying it.
The trade-off: Code does not remove deployment risk. Permissions, stateful resources, and environment differences still need review.
Lambda + EventBridge + API Gateway: give services clear roles
I worked with these services across the backend. API Gateway exposes request endpoints, Lambda runs application logic, and EventBridge routes events between parts of a system.
The trade-off: Event-driven work needs deliberate retry and duplicate-handling behavior. Service choice alone does not guarantee dependable delivery.
AI-assisted implementation
My delivery workflow included orchestration with Codex and Claude Code alongside the application and infrastructure work.
