02 / ENGAGEMENT FOCUS

The contract title describes a continuation of catalog work. The client praised the collaboration and the quality of the work in its review.
03 / THE ENGINEERING
Technology & trade-offs.
My engineering perspective: what each approach helps solve, and what needs care.
Catalog changes: preserve the behavior people rely on
Continuing a catalog means working with existing selection, editing, and refresh behavior. I make those transitions explicit before adding another increment.
The trade-off: A small interface change can affect an established workflow. Regression checks should follow those dependencies.
Shared state: keep views of the catalog consistent
Redux is one example of a way to coordinate shared selections and updates in a React implementation. Explicit actions make a change easier to follow through the interface.
The trade-off: Example option: server data still needs a clear refresh strategy so a shared store does not display stale information.
